Parish celebrates Barb Lee on her 100th birthday

It was a perfect summer day to celebrate a milestone birthday. Parishioner Barb Lee is turning 100 years old. Barb faithfully attends every Sunday at St Luke's. She arrives promptly each Sunday chauffeured from her retirement home by shuttle. Barb is in amazing shape both physically and mentally. Her smile and her eyes reveal the warmth, sparkle and vitality of her kind spirit.

At the Service, her parish family joined with Barb's family to sing her a a very special Happy Birthday!

Although Barb was saying again this year, that she didn't want "any fuss" over her birthday, Father Glenn Empey, parish priest, snuck in a very special announcement of congratulations and invited the congregation to join in singing Happy Birthday for Barb. She beamed with glee.
