On 10 December, Second Sunday of Advent, the St Luke’s family gathered for the Annual Lessons and Carols Service. This year children and parents brought the added touch of acting out the stories told in the scripture readings.

Ian Morton and the choir added a festive touch to the liturgy with a great selection of popular Advent / Christmas music. Lay reader, Bill Nicholls, officiated with the help of The Rev’d Doug Woods, Honourary Assistant. Thanks to Marion, and her assistants, for her work with our young folks. And thanks to Shannon and Randy for also participating with the children. Thank you to Beth for the photos.

There were over ninety people who gathered for this year’s Lessons and Carols Service. What a great way to get ready for Christmas and the Nativity!

Blessings to all.
