Each Wednesday of the year, we gather at 10:00 am for our mid-week Celebration of Holy Communion. You are warmly invited to join in this worship. Our parish priest presides at this Eucharist which is based on the Book of Alternative Services rite for Holy Communion adapted from the Book of Common Prayer. It is a quiet ‘said-service’ in the warm atmosphere of the chapel.
The mid-week Eucharist is celebrated in the St George Chapel where a small group of parishioners gathers each Wednesday morning. This is a highly interactive and participative service where people share in doing the reading , leading the prayers of the people, and in a dialogue sermon. Always after the Service, there are home-made ‘goodies’ and refreshments to enjoy. Many of those present then remain for a period of learning and discussion on various topics of interest.
